I saw this translated quote somewhere one day and it just somewhat stuck to me. It somewhat stings too. Nothing that gets worse when you practice. There are so many things I want to do behind the sewing machine but old habits win all the time. I see the results and I want the results to happen instantly, but the reality isn’t like that.
There’s no such thing as instant success. But I haven’t wrapped my head around it. I’m still stuck in this loop of wanting something so bad but barely doing the work. I shall keep this quote somewhere nearby and always easy to read so I can always remember to always show my best in the present moment.
